Making Money With eBay - Dolls Are Worth More Than Child's Play!

Serious doll collectors spend hours combing through the listings on eBay looking for that special collector's edition doll. There is money 1963 Topps baseball cards be made but you have to know what you have and how to sell it.

Believe it or not doll collectors are some of the fussiest 1971 Topps baseball cards on eBay; they have some serious standards and will not even look at what you are selling unless your listing abides by their "rules." That being said, here are some of the rules you need to know to sell dolls on eBay for profit.

It's all about how you list your doll; unlike many other items listed, the description must be very accurate, listing it as "antique baby doll for sale" simply will not work. You need to know something about your doll and the buyers want to know everything. If you do not have a good description then a serious collector is not even going to look at what you are selling.

Describe the doll itself, it's ok to say "vintage doll" for sale in the listing header but when you get to the description you need to tell them what kind of doll, what is it made of how is it dressed, does it come with the original box and papers. If it is a china doll tell them how much of it is made of china, are the clothes the originals and what condition they are in. Is the doll flawless and if not, where the damage is and have repairs been made. The more you tell your prospective buyer the more likely you will be to get top dollar for your doll.

Pictures are a very important part of the listing; they need to be as high quality as possible. Take as many as you can fit on your listing from all angles, have your doll sitting and standing if it does both, if the eyes open and close, you should try to show that in the Iron Man 1 Good pictures along with a good description are going to get you the most money for your doll; this is all the buyer has to go by.

Be realistic when it comes to shipping charges, most buyers have a good idea when it comes to the weight of your doll. IF you are shipping a Barbie do not try to charge as much as you would for say a similar sized porcelain doll, you will drive buyers away.

Know what you are selling, list it the right way, be willing to email buyers with more details and you can make very good money selling dolls on eBay.

How to Make a Terrarium

When I think of the New Year, I Iron Man 1 want Chatty Cathy do a project or bring "newness" to my surroundings. About three months ago, my husband and I put together a terrarium. It was quick but creative. This is something you could do with any age child or teen. Also, it makes a wonderful hand made gift. Friends and co-workers will love it!

I read that a true EC Comics has a top but that top could cause more of a challenge for the plants to grow. We bought a clear glass container with a wide opening. You can usually find these at the pet department in stores such as K-Mart or at a Pet Store.

It's really easy and all of these products are easy to find. You will find them in the same place (as mentioned above).

Here is what you do:

(1) Fill bottom of glass with 1 inch of gravel.

(2) Sprinkle a thin layer of crushed aquarium charcoal on

gravel.

(3) Add moist potting soil about the same size as the depth

that your purchased plants were potted in.

(4) Remove plants from containers, loosening roots with

fingers.

(5) Arrange plants in your container, putting tallest in center

and others around it. Position plants close together.

(6) Cover with colored gravel.

(7) Wipe smudges from glass.

My terrarium is made of 3 beautiful orange cacti and I don't remember what the smaller plants were but here are some suggestions:

(1) Rex Begonias

(2) Ferns

(3) Petite Peace Lilies and

(4) Baby's Tears.

Place the terrarium in diffused sun because direct sun could burn the plant and cause it to bloom less.

Use distilled water for moistening your plants. Remember, there is nowhere for the water to escape, so water carefully with a kitchen baster or an empty spray bottle. Only water your plant when you notice it starts to dry out. Moisten until water appears in the bottom gravel layer.

You can make this simple (like the one I made). See photo below. However, if you really want to explore other possibilities, here are a few web sites that I found to be helpful:
