"Just Because" Cards

I love sending random "just because" cards. But, when EC Comics receive one, I'm overjoyed!

The other day, I opened one from 1956 Topps football cards colleague and she wrote "Thank you for your insights and courage".

I've always been open and honest with her growing upstart home based business. I share my opinions openly, Watchmen suggestions, critiques and recommendations with facts and samples to follow-up or give a better illustration to make my point. I know I'm upfront, tactful and always polite and courteous in my dealings with her.

She's been great at seeking comments and catapulting her business because she get rave reviews.

She has been extremely generous and kind in her friendship beyond our working relationship, and I've always been grateful for our rapport.

So, I know I've been 'very insight" to her and her business; but, courageous?

Wow!

An immediate yet perplexed smile popped on my face. A twinkle in my eye has lasted now over a week.

She's equally supportive of my work, but I've never heard great details. Although I know she admires my work when I have my health working with me.

Undoubtedly, I'm risky and brave, but this comes out of determination and focus. To have "courage" I believe takes on a deeper sense that I never really thought would be a word to describe me.

So, to receive what I believe as her personal judgment in how or what I write really touched my heart.

Now, I can simply write back and ask for a detailed explanation; but that would be extremely tacky. Also, it'd take away from the very essence of a "just because" card:

To make the receiver know you're thinking about them, caring from a distance, sharing your wish that they deserve a special smile the good Heroquest fashion way via the postal mail service.

I guarantee that the receiver will appreciate your effort.

So, I challenge you to send a card to anyonejust because!
